How do I back up my files, and restore them? And do I have to? I have windows xp 32 bit and want to get windows 7 64 bit. I don’t care about my files but I don’t know why or how to back up files and restore them. also why can’t i buy the $100 windows 7 cd? The guy at the store said I could only buy the $200 one, it was bullshit.

  4. Onirayushizobura Says:

No. Burning CDs just has to do with your laser, which is part of your hardware. All you should have to do is find a program that allows you to burn CDs and DVDs after you install Windows 7.

  5. hogmatog Says:

hmmmm this guy seems to be very intent on making windows 7 look difficult which its not

This guy explains things way too fast.

  7. Headphoneguy92 Says:

would still involve having to back up all your stuff
+ pay exessivly for new hardware
+ Looking for an alternative to windows software you had (windows 7 supports XP apps)

and really, its not as time consuming as cnet makes it.
    - Backup
    - Install
    - move stuff back in

would be same if you got the mac, but also the headaches i mentioned above

Just when I thought windows couldn’t get any worse… they totally redeem themselves. Booted from disc… installed over vista. Love IT. Finally some speed and flair. Nice backgrounds come with it as well. Always nice to have some cool themes right out the box.

LOL, he showed us a product key, but it not illigel because he bought and downloaded windows 7 by there website.

  23. TheCoD456Gamer Says:

I downloaded a copy on the Internet for free and it used a DVD, not DL DVD’s. And it took up like 2 GB and 200 MB. So it shoulnt take much space up on your HDD, but updates might take more space. The ultimate edition cost like $600, but I downloaded it for free.
