Why do both laptops have those stickers on them explaining that they are PCs? There should be one on the table that says “I’m a TABLE” and one on each forehead that says “I’m a GENIUS”
Guru, sorry. Of course… Gurus.

windows search=new? WTF
Look at Apples Spotlight!!!!!!!
at 10:49 am
Totally agree, Xbox Live and MSN are great, but Windows Vista and below just sucked, OS X is amazing.
at 10:49 am
Exactly, we don’t want to go to a shop to use a computer.
at 10:49 am
I agree, but there really good at Xbox and Xbox Live you have to give them props for that… Mac OS X does rule!
at 10:49 am
they run to shops to explain how to use windows? wtf? windows should be easy.
at 10:49 am
OS X rules, and within a few years, it will be the leading Operating System. Microsoft is gonna fail with Windows, Windows Live, Bing, Xbox and Xbox Live. Office is a good program, but there are good alternatives, like iWork. Excel is better then Numbers, but Pages is better then Word and Keynote is so much better then PowerPoint. So MS is gonna fail, and Apple is gonna be the leading company.

Indeed. Like the search bar in the start menu. It’s stolen from Apple’s Mac OS X Spotlight. And the new Windows 7 Taskbar, stolen from the OS X Dock. Microsoft wants to discontinue Windows, because of the much virusses and spyware. They want to make a new operating system, more like OS X. I think Windows 7 might be the last version of Windows. If not, then there will be after 7, one version, and that will be the last version.

Windows Gurus? You PC people know that thats just another MS copy from a popular idea. It’s called a Genius Bar in an Apple store. MS copies everything Apple does.Even Vista which is a poor man’s Mac OS X in more than a dozen ways.Except the Mac OS actually lets you concentrate on your work. PC’s let you worry viruses, spyware, etc. It’s a long standing joke with the smarter Mac crowd how MS copies every move Apple makes. I’d have a modicum of respect if they just came up with their own ideas.
at 10:49 am
I’m a virus free Mac. And you are? Oh a virus ridden, spyware infested, blue screen of death PC. Hmmm, stupid much?
at 10:49 am
Its funny how jealous pc owners who wish they had bought a mac give people like you thumbs down for saying something totally true!
at 10:49 am
Once again Microsoft copy Apple, this time using people.
Windows Gurus, Mac Genius. Same thing. Genius’s are better though…
at 10:49 am
i only hope the snap feature can be disabled
along with that crappy taskbar
at 10:49 am
I LOVE MAC! MAC IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN PC, I AM JUST DYING TO DO ONE OF THOSE “Laptop Hunters” ADS BUT PICK A MAC!!! (i know thats not possible cause microsoft probably makes you sign a thing saying you’ll pick a pc, i still think thatd be sooo funny though!)
at 10:49 am
windows vista and 7 has direct x 10 but so far i hate vista because it isnt compatible with much and is slow windows 7 is supposingly better tho
at 10:49 am
Im not quite sure if I like Windows 7. Comparing 64bit Windows 7, to 64bit XP….. XP is faster.
I like the layout of Win7, and its definitely an improvement, but rendering on my machine is now slower.
at 10:49 am
Oh. They were a big help when i picked out my graphics card.
at 10:49 am
On TigerDirectBlog, I don’t even bother watching it anymore
at 10:49 am
What do you mean miss him? :O
at 10:49 am
ah the old Logan, I miss that guy.. but he didn’t mentioned OpenCL. DirectX is Microsofts monoploy on the gaming industry, if they used OpenCL – everybody could play but no..I’m using DirectX10 on my stationary PC and I can’t say it’s so amazing as he says it is. Everything is connected, hardware, software,OS, for some reason Windows just seems to work better on a Mac. as for gaming performance you can get a top notch Mac/PC and a not so good Mac/PC. doesnt make DX10 superior
at 10:49 am
Unix is good, and has the most programs, most freedom for the user, but the commercial software for Mac and Windows is almost never for Linux
So after that i got a mac, installed windows on it during Win7 beta test, and sold the damn thing for a Desktop PC. and developers then to aim at DX10 versus openCL. Just saying. DX10 is clearly the more advanced graphical engine, as explained here

watch the WHOLE thing.

OpenGL on Win? yeah, OpenCL? No. That, is relevant to the user, your opinion is shared and not shared by millions. If your so intrested in OS you should go back to UNIX based systems, you can’t argue with stability and security
at 10:49 am
wow really intense OS there… Look I’m not gonna bloody argue with you about alt. to iMovie sence I’m neither an artist or use it on a regular basis and in fact I really don’t care because Mac software, no matter where you get it from gives the Mac user everything he/she needs
at 10:49 am
Yup, OpenGL is good, but windows has it too, WITH the addition of DX10 and both OS have 64 bit. Ive used leopard, and it was great, but then I got windows 7 7068, and I didn’t boot into leopard for months, then I got Windows 7 7100 (RC) nad I sold my MacBook for a new Gateway desktop PC. Never goin back to mac. I spent some time as a Linux Junkie, too…
at 10:49 am
It still got alot of things that take up rescources and new additions as well, or should I say new disasters. Never tried it, seen people do it so it can be done. Ok let’s talk OS, DirectX, we don’t got that we’ll use OpenCL with Snow and get twice the performance. 64-bit as well, every inch from top to bottom something Win can not say. It’s not made to not run games so I don’t see the problem Give leopard a chance, if your smart you’ll love it and never want to go back to Win that I promise u
