@MrJwagon windows vista feels just as fast… once i installed the platform update (DX11 for vista) and the first nvidia opencl compatible driver, vista was a whole lot more responsive. i think windows 7 is just fast due to the new directx API…

no shit… i was making a joke about how windows 7 is nothing more than Vista SP2. i see no performance difference ffrom vista to Windows 7 and vista actually does better in some areas. i know this because i built a quad core rig for my dad that has Windows 7 on it and mine has vista. nothing really improved…

Dumbass, we’ve all heard about WinXP mode in Windows 7…that is nothing new. If you read the posts we already AGREED that Win7 is fine with most games; my statement was directed towards it’s compatibility problems with certain programs. Maybe YOU should try reading information more carefully before attempting to sound so educated, moron.

The curtain has been raised (slightly) on the next installment of Microsoft’s Windows operating system – Windows 7.

Microsoft hope it will bring the internet, mobile phone and PC closer together. But reviews have so far been mixed, although reviewers have been limited to trying the (pre-beta version).

The full version is expected to be capable of working with a touchscreen screen, navigating documents and the Web similar to Apple’s iPhone. It is officially released at the end of 2009.
