@dsid4evr because i followed his steps of dual booting in different harddisk and end up can`t boot it .I only know how to dual boot in one harddisk with two partitions.

if you already have windows 7 on a 3.5 inch hardrive and you buy a ssd will i be able to put the os on the ssd without deleting the data

@gck86 (partition method) if ya got vista installed and want w7 with dual boot, just make a new primery partition. ( for win 7 bout 30 gigs is more than enough, at lest for me) Then ya just install w7 on the new partition ya made. when ya boot next time you should see menu to choose which os you wanna boot.
an in system propertys in advanced tab(setup and recovery) you can adjust boot time for menu and which os you wan as default.

The announced SSD space is 128GB. On the Windows interface it shows 119GB. How come they take that much space away from the mentioned?

i use 6 x25 ms in raid 0 and i have to configure my bios to raid ,does it mean i lose the ahci mode trim ability

The curtain has been raised (slightly) on the next installment of Microsoft’s Windows operating system – Windows 7.

Microsoft hope it will bring the internet, mobile phone and PC closer together. But reviews have so far been mixed, although reviewers have been limited to trying the (pre-beta version).

The full version is expected to be capable of working with a touchscreen screen, navigating documents and the Web similar to Apple’s iPhone. It is officially released at the end of 2009.

“I have seen the future, and it is bleak. Windows 7, the next big version, the one that was supposed to fix everything that was wrong with Vista, is here (at least in pre-beta form), and I can now say – with some confidence – that Microsoft has once again dropped the ball.
