If I buy a Windows 7 Home Premium, could I use the disc on multiple computers? Also in Home premium is their two discs, one for 32 bit and one for 64 bit?

Please reply. Thanks, great video

I have several hard drives attached to my system, so they're all displayed when installing and choosing a drive for the operating system. If you're concerned about accidentally deleting data on a backup/storage drive, you can always unplug all your drives except for the one you plan to install Windows 7 to!

When you're buying Windows 7, you're really buying the installation key. The discs themselves can be copied, reused on other computers, etc... but your installation key is one-time-use and will be bound to the PC it's activated on. For the other computers in your home, you'll need to purchase additional copies of Win7 for additional installation keys.

Retail Win7 versions come with both a 32-bit and a 64-bit install disc; OEM versions only come with one or the other, whichever is specified.

This can vary a LOT depending on your computer's motherboard and existing BIOS settings. My boot-from-DVD method in the video is a little old-school, but covers older BIOS versions that don't have a shortcut boot-from-DVD key that's available during POST.

If you're currently using Vista, then yes, you can skip all the boot-from-DVD stuff and upgrade directly from the Vista desktop.

Personally, I reformat and re-load my OS once or twice a year for better performance; you'll always get better results with a clean install than you would by loading Win7 on top of an old Vista install that's been collecting dust for a while. If you keep tabs on your favorite programs and have a backup drive available, the clean install is the way to go.
