Windows 7 running on the iPad

Just imagine, for the next 56 seconds, that you’re living in an alternative universe. In this universe, Apple only makes hardware. And today, they’ve just released the iPad. It runs Windows 7. Welcome to the (other) future present! In this instantiation of space-time, the iPad is simply running a VNC client, and connecting to my Macbook, not a stunning day-zero hack. But hey, let your imaginations run wild! More at gizmodo.com

meh this VNC client program seems clunky. idk. maybe it’s just me haha, but i prefer to use Jump Desktop. works easy peasy. but so far all VNC on ipad seem pretty similar.

  12. Jesusability Says:

@SirJonthe You’d be using the keyboard with the system that you’re viewing through the VNC client.

  13. SirJonthe Says:

I was wondering. Does the VNC client have support for the Apple keyboard that you can connect to the iPad? Also, since Windows 7 supports touch displays, are there any features in the VNC client that lets you use these features, instead of having the VNC client converting touch commands to virtualized mouse device commands?

For all the “Captain Obvious” persons out there that claims this is a fake video.
    It is not fake.
It is written in the descriptionfield/underbar/sidebar that they’re using VNC.
And thats exactly what they are doing.
