Changed regedit for currentversion from Business to home and tried from upgrade DVD, still met with &quot;no you cannot&quot;. not sure if I am still required to copy the entire image to harddrive and change the cversion aswell. Any help?</description>

Changed EditionId to HomePremium
and ProductId to &quot;Windows Vista tm Home Premium&quot; Notice the space between Home and Premium in productId.

This worked! and installation and activation went fine with windows 7.</description>
