Love the new UI… great work Microsoft..

Does anybody know if this can install apps to the SD card? Or is it limited to the main memory like the Android. This is what have prevented Android from catching up to the IPhone in terms of apps.

I WANT A PHONE WITH WINDOWS MOBILE 7!!
at 3:37 pm
Yes, the same design language. If you’ve ever used a Windows 7 touch-enabled PC and played with Media Center, you’ll realize that the UI is so suited to finger operation.

Microsoft is very smart… They will start selling it in November or December when people start buying gifts for the family, friends and more important, themselves… I’m a Windows lover so I might get one…

I know what you mean, the Ipad is the last straw with apple not bothering with its products anymore.
And microsoft is doing well with this o.s by telling the phone makers what to do rather than letting them do what they want and making rubbish mobiles that spoil the windows mobile name

“And the Zune software is infinitely better than Itunes as an music player on your PC. ”
Agreed 100%. As I’ve said many times before, popularity doesn’t = better. The iPod is what’s in. But the sound quality is shit. And iTunes is also shit, not to mention ugly as hell. And I’ve played around with the iPhone, Nexus, and Droid. iPhone may be what’s “in” but the N1 & Droid EASILY pwn the shit out of it. I’m not saying the iPhone’s all around crap. It’s just that popularity doesnt = the best.

Still not better than iPhone 3GS!!!

The Win7 phone looks so badass. I love all this competition. I’m lovin the fact that Microsoft is back in this thing. All this competition = Epic win for the buyers. IMO, Apple has been on cruise control for far too long. With phones like this, the Moto Droid, and the Nexus One, (only reason sales arent up to par is b/c it’s on T-Mobile. Put that bitch on Verizon) Apple could finally get run for it’s money. You’d be amazed how something can be “in” 1min then out the next. Prime example: Myspace

There is none. The start screen is accessed with the hardware button.

Where is the Windows icon?
at 3:37 pm
its like windows media center interface

@koolaidman099 You won’t have to wait. Check out the planned and growing releases of current and future Windows Phones and you’ll find that many of them will be upgradeable to Windows 7 Series.

at 3:37 pm
@strtead22 Commisions are not significant when you invest more than 100 dollars.
at 3:37 pm

at 3:37 pm
2 Questions: Does it have flash? this is like a Zune phone, Whats gonna happen to the Zune hd.
at 3:37 pm
@quebuenoestaesto
Did you say “Ameritrade app”??? You have to be a complete idiot to trade off that platform. $14 round trip. What genius would pay that commission for equities?!?!?!? Ninja trader with Zen fire bro. $3.00 round trip. Let go of equities and jump in with the big boys (miniSP). We need a little more spoos in our markets. IDIOT

Apple will last forever… Never will be the best, but it will last forever!
at 3:37 pm
this thing will probably get a virus right away and break just like every other Microsoft product out there
at 3:37 pm
I kinda agree, but you’re slamming them too much, I mean they can at least use computers HAHA!
at 3:37 pm
Best product? HAHA! Good one!
at 3:37 pm
Orly? Enlighten all of us “kids” with your seemingly all-knowing mind about the nature of smartphone evolution, since, ya know, me with my actual experience with multiple platforms amassed over several years and numbers and statistics from reputable sources isn’t enough.
What’s that? You have none? You wanna know what’s worse than arguments on the net? Morons like you who think they know more because you’re not in it.
at 3:37 pm
It looks quite nice to be honest
coming from a 3GS owner
Could do with a little more – unsure what, but it’s damn close to being perfect
Make the screen larger compared to the front size of the phone n it’s perfect

@T4Taco I hope you realize how elitist you sound right now. Putting down all Apple users, and insinuating that they don’t have an average IQ? Really? Maybe they just don’t like the Zune and Win7 UI?
To me, an Apple user, it appears cluttered. Sexy, but cluttered. I don’t like that words run off the screen because there’s definitely enough room to fit it on the screen. I don’t like the way the eMail interface looks: Too many words without dividers.
But these are preferences. Not based on IQ.
